BASIC SEAMANSHIP & INTERNATIONAL
TRANSPORT MALTA BOAT LICENCE
All Maltese nationals/Residents wishing to operate a power driven vessel which is 30HP and above must hold a Transport Malta Nautical Licence.
BOAT MASTER
GRADE 1 AND 2
Operating a commercial vessel over 12 meters or 24 meters as a Master.
CVC ENGINE DRIVER 3 AND 2
Operating a commercial vessel of 500KW or 750KW as an Engine Driver.
GENERAL PURPOSE HAND
The General Purpose Hand (GPH) qualifications are required by Maritime Services and National legislation. Without these qualifications, you will not be legally approved to work onboard.
BOAT MAN
This is a dual qualification to act as a Master or Engineer of vessels less than 10meters in length and with engines up to 250KW.
TRAIN THE TRAINER
This typical Train the Trainer course is ideal for people who are new to training or people who have found themselves carrying out training with no or little previous development in train the trainer.
BASIC AND ELEMENTARY FIRST AID (COMMERCIAL MARINE)
This course will give the participants basic knowledge and skills qualifying them for basic first aid procedures.
BASIC AND FIRE PREVENTION
(COMMERCIAL MARINE)
The course is suitable for delegates with responsibilities for port area and ship fire fighting.

VHF SRC
The Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required to operate marine VHF radio equipment on a vessel. This includes both fixed and handheld equipment with and without Digital Selective Calling (DSC).
INTRODUCTION TO
HEALTH AND SAFETY
This Module provides trainees with general background information on occupational health and safety, and on the magnitude and variety of health and safety problems, and explains the role of the health and safety representative.
